Our deadline for submitting our CE accreditation audit was yesterday. You have no idea how many times I have said a quick prayer of thanks for LecturePanda while working on it. I can’t imagine having to complete the assessment without it! It would have actually been impossible for me.
The ACPE Standards for Continuing Pharmacy Education are the 11 standards the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education uses to accredit CPE providers. Version 6, updated June 2024, groups them into program organization, content, delivery, assessment and evaluation, covering goals, gap analysis, activity types, objectives, independence, faculty, active learning, materials, learning assessment, feedback and activity evaluation. Read ACPE's published standards (PDF).
No. ACPE accredits providers, not software. LecturePanda gives an accredited provider, or an organization preparing an initial ACPE application, the tools to run activities the way the standards describe and the records that show it, from announcements and assessments to evaluation summaries and the history of every credit submitted to CPE Monitor.
LecturePanda's Question Fingerprint Report, Activity Report and Credit Reporting History, all under Organization Settings, Reports & History, carry most of a self-study's data. The Question Fingerprint Report pools one evaluation question across your catalog and prints as a formatted report. The Activity Report lists every credit offered in a period, archived ones included, with UAN, activity type, format and dates. Credit Reporting History exports every credit claimed. See Reports & History.
LecturePanda keeps an activity's records on the course: the announcement with target audience, learning objectives per credit, contact hours and your ACPE statements; each evaluation's printable summary; the Submitted ACPE Report, showing exactly what was sent to ACPE and what came back; and each learner's completion history with e-Profile ID, UAN and participation date. A certificate template preview gives a reviewer a sample statement of credit without a real completion.
LecturePanda supports ACPE gap analysis with pre-tests that measure what learners know before the material, and evaluation questions that collect needs for the next activity. On a live event, a pre-test closes fifteen minutes after the event starts. Building the post-test from the same questions lets you compare answers before and after, and the Question Fingerprint Report matches identically worded questions across activities.
Yes. LecturePanda keeps a learner's credit submission locked until every quiz and evaluation that applies to them is complete, which covers ACPE's required assessment of learning. A graded post-test sets a passing grade and an attempt limit, and each answer choice can carry its own feedback, so learners see the rationale after answering. A passing result is final and locks the credit in.
LecturePanda's evaluation summary has a Summarize By control that splits each question's results by registration type, so pharmacist and technician responses show separately, as ACPE Standard 11 asks. Print Page produces a formatted summary for the activity file, and Download Data exports every response with the participant's name. 3, 6 and 12-month follow-up evaluations add a long-term check after the activity. See quizzes and evaluations.
LecturePanda supports active participation, the subject of ACPE Standard 7, with built-in audience polling during live sessions, which attendees open from Interactive Questions on their course page. Home-study activities can embed questions at set points in a recorded video and run xAPI modules, with LecturePanda hosting the Learning Record Store, so learners respond while they learn rather than only at the end.
LecturePanda builds the activity announcement page from the course itself: target audience, learning objectives per credit, setting, speakers, contact hours and your ACPE statements. The Privacy and Confidentiality Statement and the accreditation statement come from your ACPE accreditation under Organization Settings, so every announcement carries them without retyping, and the UAN fills in each credit's hours and dates from CPE Monitor.
Yes. Organizations preparing an initial ACPE application can build activities, evaluations, announcements and certificate templates in LecturePanda before a provider ID arrives. Once ACPE issues your credentials, add an ACPE accreditation under Organization Settings, Accreditations, and we activate the CPE Monitor interface with you. The connection can point at CPE Monitor's Test environment before Production. See the ACPE setup guide.
