Using LecturePanda over the past year has almost eliminated manual work involved with uploading continuing education credits. It is simple enough for our team members to manage on their own, while giving us the flexibility we need through integrations. Even with all of that, the amazing hands-on customer support may be the best “feature” of all.
This page is about reporting software for CE providers. Licensees and providers log in at cebroker.com.
LecturePanda reports completions to CE Broker automatically. When a learner submits their credit, the completion is filed with the learner's board under your CE Broker provider account, with their name, license number, profession, your course ID and the completion date. The license number was already checked with CE Broker at registration, so there is no roster to build or upload by hand. See the CE Broker setup guide.
LecturePanda's CE Broker setup is one accreditation of type CE Broker under Organization Settings: enter your Upload Key and Provider ID (the digits after 50-), pick your Reporting Boards, and under Configure Professions choose which registration field holds each profession's license number. Each credit then gets a CE Broker Profession and a CE Broker Course ID. The setup guide walks through it, and we're happy to go through your configuration on a call.
LecturePanda reports to any board you select in its CE Broker configuration, which lists more than 400 boards: veterinary medicine in more than 60 states and provinces, dentistry, nursing, physical and occupational therapy, social work and counseling, psychology, medicine, chiropractic, optometry and respiratory care, plus architects, engineers and real estate professionals. Boards adopt CE Broker independently and some make it optional, so your board decides whether you report through it; the boards on your configuration are the ones LecturePanda submits to.
A CE Broker course ID is your CE Broker Course Tracking number for the course, the number that begins with 20-. In LecturePanda you enter only the digits after 20- in the CE Broker Course ID field on each credit, beside its CE Broker Profession. A course ID must be unique within a course for each profession, and the credit form flags a duplicate while you build. Your Provider Tracking number, which begins with 50-, goes on the accreditation as the Provider ID.
LecturePanda checks each license number with CE Broker while the learner registers, so wrong digits, stray spaces around a designator like RN, or the wrong professional code are flagged on the registration form and corrected before the learner enrolls. The message names the profession and state that were checked. A bad number caught there takes the learner seconds to fix instead of turning up in a rejected upload weeks later. See license validation.
When registration rejects a valid state license, the message comes from CE Broker, and the usual cause is that the license isn't attached to a CE Broker account yet. The learner creates a CE Broker account if they don't have one, adds the license number to it, and registers again. Providers who see this often add a line to the course announcement: a CE Broker account with your license attached is needed to register.
Yes. One LecturePanda course can report to every board on your CE Broker configuration. With more than one board selected, the Reporting State Field asks each learner which board to report under, and Sync Reporting States keeps that question's choices matched to your boards. License fields are mapped per board and profession, so veterinarians, dentists and therapists from different states each report correctly from the same course.
Yes. For boards that want hours by subject, LecturePanda marks credits as Partial Credit, gives each a CE Broker Subject, and reports them through a Grouped-Hours credit that lists them as its dependencies. The learner claims once, the hours are summed by subject, and the board receives the subject-level breakdown in one submission. Most providers report the full credit amount and leave Partial Credit off. See CE Broker reporting.
LecturePanda shows a CE Broker submission error in two places: on the learner's completion step, with the detail of what went wrong, and in Credit Reporting History under Reports & History, which lists every submitted line item with its errors, filterable by date, accreditation and status. Because licenses are checked at registration, most errors at this stage point to a course ID, profession code or board to review.
