Reporting & Troubleshooting

A credit was submitted but the learner can't find it, a submission errors out, or a registration type never reports at all. Start with the symptom that matches.

LecturePanda shows a clean report, but the learner doesn't see the credit

A clean report means the submission validated. NABP checks the e-Profile ID and date of birth at the moment of submission and rejects anything that doesn't match — it never silently accepts bad data. So when the report shows no errors, the ID and date of birth on file passed validation, which makes a simple typo an unlikely explanation.

The same pair was already checked at registration (Learner Validation), so it has now passed twice. Treat the identifiers as sound and look at where the credit landed instead.

Mind the clock first: CPE Monitor reconciles newly submitted credits in a daily batch, so a credit can take up to 24 hours from submission to appear on the learner's profile. For anything older than a day, work through these in order:

  1. Have the learner page through their entire CPE Monitor history. This is by far the most common answer — the credit is usually a page or two further down than they looked.
  2. Check from your own administrative CPE Monitor interface, not the learner's view. If it shows as reported on the admin side, it went through.
  3. Confirm the e-Profile ID on file actually belongs to that learner. If someone else's valid ID was entered by mistake, the credit posted correctly — to the wrong person's profile.

To see exactly what was sent, open the Registrants list and click the View Completion History button on the learner's row. It shows the e-Profile ID, date of birth, UAN, participation date, and action that went to NABP.

Stopgap

If the activity is still within NABP's 60-day submission window, you can upload the credit to CPE Monitor manually while you confirm the root cause.

"Duplicate Record Submitted. Previously accepted by NABP."

This error appears on the credit submission step, often while an admin is trying to download a certificate, and typically affects just one credit while others on the same page submit fine.

The cause is an unlocked completion record. Once a completion record is unlocked, the system treats the credit as needing to be submitted again — and NABP rejects the resubmission because it already accepted that credit.

The credit is safe. It is on file with NABP and nothing was lost; only the resubmission attempt is being refused.

The fix is to re-lock the completion record so the system stops trying to resubmit. The certificate then downloads cleanly.

Records usually get unlocked to give a learner an extra assessment attempt. If that's why it was unlocked, sort out the retry first — re-locking the record ends the retry.

A registration type never reports to CPE Monitor

If learners on a particular registration type complete the course but never receive CPE credit, check the registration type's fields.

Setting the registration type's Meaning to ACPE: Pharmacy is necessary but not sufficient. To report a completion, the registration type must also collect both:

  1. NABP e-Profile ID
  2. Date of Birth

These are required by CPE Monitor for every submission. Without them on the registration form, no credit can be reported no matter how the Meaning is set.

This usually happens on a brand-new registration type built to gather custom questions, rather than a copy of an existing pharmacist type that already had those fields attached.

To fix: edit the registration type and add the NABP e-Profile ID and Date of Birth fields alongside your custom questions. For learners who already registered without them, collect the details separately and report their credit retroactively.

Completions aren't appearing in your AMS or CRM

When learner profiles live in your association management system and are updated by an integration, first confirm the completion recorded correctly in LecturePanda. If it did, the gap is usually on the integration side rather than in LecturePanda.

Identify the specific profile that's missing the credit (a profile ID helps) and open a ticket with your AMS vendor — individual records sometimes need fixing on their end. Once they confirm a fix, re-check that profile.

Names on completions

Completions record under the name on the learner's profile as supplied by your AMS, not the name typed at registration. That's useful when a learner registers with a nickname that doesn't match their license.

For the Joyn integration specifically, CE hours only push back when the learner's member ID is attached to their LecturePanda profile — see Joyn.
