Activities & Credits
Building a PARS credit starts from the activity you've already registered with ACCME.
Pull the activity from PARS
On a credit with a PARS accreditation attached, enter the PARS Activity ID. LecturePanda fetches the activity and fills in its title, contact hours, and release and expiration dates from PARS directly.
Because the credit is built from the record ACCME already holds, the two can't drift apart — the commonest source of build errors simply doesn't arise. The refresh icon re-pulls the activity whenever you change something on the PARS side.
Sub-credits come with the activity
PARS activities can carry more than one certification, each worth its own points. Those arrive with the activity and appear as a list on the credit — each certification with its point value — so a single credit reports the full set the activity is registered for rather than needing one credit per certification.
License validation and learner permission
Two things happen on the learner's side without any setup beyond the field mapping:
- License information is validated using the state and license fields you configured, so problems surface at registration rather than at submission.
- Learners are asked for permission before their completion is reported, which is what ACCME requires. The step is part of the flow they already move through, so nothing extra is asked of you.
Where submissions show up
Completions submitted to PARS appear in your reporting history alongside every other accreditation, filterable by date and by which agency the line item went to. See Reports & History.
